Beulah McLaughlin, age 96, of Carlinville, IL, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her son’s home in Carlinville, IL. She was born to James and Anita Watters on February 17, 1920 in Carlinville, IL. She married James McLaughlin on November 14, 1942 in the Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Louis, MO, and he precedes her in death. Beulah attended Carlinville Schools and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Beulah is survived by one daughter, Susan (husband Richard) Krupa of Warren, MI, two sons; Kent (wife Kathy) McLaughlin of Los Alamitos, CA, Jim (wife Essie) McLaughlin of Carlinville, IL, three granddaughters; Christine (husband Ed Ray) Ingram, Kimberly (husband Jeffrey) Ten Eyck, Jamie (husband Greg Grove) McLaughlin, two grandsons; Richard (wife Katie) Krupa Jr., and J.C. (wife Kelly) McLaughlin, and seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 10-11am at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carlinville, IL.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11am at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carlinville, IL.

Burial will follow at Mayfield Cemetery.
