Jeffrey D. Morse, 51, of Carlinville, IL died Monday, July 3, 2017 at Carlinville Area Hospital. He was born July 19, 1965 in Carlinville to Richard and Alice (Bilauski) Morse.

Jeff was a 1983 Graduate of Carlinville High School and he worked accounting for the Secretary of State. He was a musician, and enjoyed the guitar for 30+ years. Jeff was a member of Carlinville United Methodist Church, the Macoupin County Republican Party, and his true passion was his music.

He is survived by his parents, sister, Abbe Eldred of Carlinville, 2 brothers, Michael (Susie) Morse of Carlinville, Gregory (Shanna) Morse of Glen Allen, VA, and niece Lily and nephews Alex and Christopher.

A visitation will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017, 10-1pm at Heinz Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday July 8, 2017 at 1pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Mayfield Memorial Park.
