Don and Carol were married February 1, 1953. Don entered into the air force, and they moved to Texas and Idaho. Don and Carol spent many years living on Lake Lou Jaeger in Litchfield, IL before retiring and moving to Sun Lakes, AZ. Carol was a wonderful homemaker. With her love and actions, she cared for her family deeply . Carol took her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother seriously. Every occasion no matter how small was made to feel extra special. She was an excellent hostess, always prepared to receive friends and guests. Carol was a caregiver. She would see a need and respond in whatever way she could. Many were recipients of cinnamon rolls, apple pies, or a homemade meal. While living in AZ, she was part of the care giving ministry at Risen Savior Lutheran Church. Flower gardening was a passion for her, as well as crafting, playing cards, and the playing piano. Carol and Don enjoyed boating and trips to the Ozarks. They were fortunate to be able to travel to many other locations with friends and family making many fond memories along the way. Carol loved the Lord and trusted Him fully. Through many illnesses she knew God was in control and that she would be taken care of.
