Stevens Miller, 65, of Carlinville, IL died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Carlinville Area Hospital. Steve was born on July 11, 1951 in Mexico City, Mexico to Stanley G. and Mary Lou (Tinsley) Miller. Steve was married to Elaine Allen of Carlinville, IL.

Steve graduated from Carrolton High School in 1969 and received a Bachelors Degree in Spanish from Blackburn College in 1973. Steve was self-employed. He enjoyed politics, history and the rescue of homeless pets. Steve was a resident of Carlinville, Illinois since 1973.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Elaine of Carlinville, Stepson Ed Khan (wife Jenna) of Libertyville Illinois. Stepdaughter Shireen (Khan) Mullink (husband Eric) of Oxford, Mississippi, five grandchildren: Mia and Chase Khan, and Austin, Quinten and Brady Mullink. One brother: Lance (wife Debbie) of San Antonio, Texas and niece Hannah of Portland Oregon. Two aunts: Evelyn (Tinsley) Fulton of Chatham, Illinois and Ardis (Miller) Stevenson of Lake Oswego, Oregon. One Uncle: Chan (Steve) Miller of Redondo Beach, California.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
