Obituary for Evelyn Jane Hughes (Dunn)
Evelyn Jane (Dunn) Hughes, 88, of Carlinville, IL died on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at her home in Carlinville. She was born November 6, 1930 in Chesterfield, IL to Joseph and Susan (Bilbruck) Dunn. Evelyn married Lee Hughes, February 15, 1948 in Hettick, IL.
Evelyn was a homemaker and enjoyed camping with family and motorcycle rides with her husband.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons; Mervyn Lee Hughes and Randall Hughes, 4 brothers; Tom Dunn, Denzil Dunn, Joe Dunn and Melvin Dunn, and sisters; Mae Conklin and Wanda Elledge.
She is survived by her husband Lee, sons; Kenny (Vicki) Hughes of Carlinville, IL and Steve (Mitzi) Hughes of Palmyra, IL, sisters; Melba Ribble of Bethalto, IL and Wilma Kroeger of Carlinville, IL.
A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Carlinville Moose Lodge at 2pm.
