I may not have been your biological daughter, but you coming into my mom’s life when I was a pre-teen and stepping in as my dad was a huge blessing. You modeled strength, hard work, understanding, and dignity. I loved you as my father, mentor, and friend. You have left behind shoes that will never be filled in the same way again. Thank you for the stories, the laughter, the lessons, the advice, the encouragement. We miss you and love you, Dad Carl.

So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of working with Carl. He was one of my favorites. We kept in touch over the years and would catch up on on things when we saw each other. Prayers for all.

Arlene, Toni and Lorraine I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. No words can express the loss you girls are feeling, just know you are loved and God has this under control. Your dad was a very special person, loved by so many! God bless you all.
Carol Koller - Wednesday April 05, 2017 via Memorial Candle
I asked you one time as we sat at your kitchen table drinking coffee and having slices of your fresh made apple pie, "What do you do the day after somebody you love dies." "You have to go on living, and be thankful for the love you shared and keep going and living your life. It happens to everybody and it'll happen to you. One day you'll be knocking on heaven's door and someone will wonder what they're going to do the day after you're gone. But don't you worry about it. It happens to all of us. It's part of life, until that day comes for you, you've got to keep on living," He said. I'll miss you. Thanks for always 'being there'. I'll see you again and until that day, I'll keep on living."
